MOR Certification Program


The term MOR stands for Management of Risk. As such, the aim of MOR Certification program is to guide the management professionals to prevent risk in course of the business management by implementing the appropriate framework. A certain amount of risk taking is inevitable for the organization at any point of time when there is a scope to achieve objectives and exploit opportunities effectively. The adoption of well managed risk may lead to a substantial gain in service improvements and business growth. The MOR certification course is framed to aid the candidates for implementation of the guidelines in their field of workplace at the time of need. Effective risk management can bring significant and far-reaching benefits to every company or organization. The MOR training Certification is based on two levels – MOR course Foundation and MOR Practitioner.
The purpose of MOR Foundation qualification is to confirm as to the capability of the candidates to demonstrate the knowledge and comprehension of the MOR framework:
*Principles
*Approach
*Process
*Embedding and reviewing and how they support the corporate governance
The MOR course Foundation qualification is the pre-requisite of MOR Practitioner qualification
The MOR Foundation program is suitable for any enterprise or individual candidate seeing the need for guidance on a controlled approach to identify, analyze and manage the risk at strategic, program, project and operational perspectives. In other words, it can be stated that the candidate achieve through the MOR Foundation program how to identify the defect and prevent the risk that could be in running any specific program or project. The target audiences of the MOR Foundation program are:
*Program or Project Managers
*Business change Managers
*Risk Managers, who have a vital role in managing any program or project
*Business and Program and Project support staff and Managers
*Operational Staff and Manager
*Staff and Managers from other disciplines, particularly who are responsible for establishing standards and for integrating them with MSP and Prince 2
MOR Foundation level certification can be achieved on its own or through a combination program of MOR Training course for both the MOR Foundation and Practitioner level.
There are some APMG authorized and Accredited Training Centers providing MOR Certification course combining both Foundation and Practitioner level for 5 days. If any individual has already taken MOR Foundation level course, will require only 2 days’ MOR Practitioner course. The course contents are as follows”
*MOR principles, terminology and methods
*MOR framework, tools and technique
*Business continuity management
*Security program/project risk management and operational service management
*Risk process lifecycle
*Overview of the Corporate Governance and Corporate management or risk
The Exam schedule of both the MOR Foundation and Practitioner level are as follows:
MOR Foundation –
*Multiple choice formats
*75 question paper
*5 questions are trial and not counted in scores
*35 pass marks required
*one hour duration
*Closed book
MOR Practitioner level –
*Objective testing
*4 questions per paper, 20 marks available per question
*40 pass marks required
*Three hours duration
*Candidates may make use of the Management of Risk Guidance for MOR practitioners and other relevant guidelines.
